The Historic marker in the front yard has a brief history, here's the full story. Originally a one room affair in 1928; then converted by the then young Architect A. Hays Town in 1938 into a 'legitimate' filling station with three wings supported by fluted columns. Bought in 1978 by Tommy Goodman & Sam Mockbee, Architects, to become their office, the 3 wings were enclosed in (mostly) big glass panels, they outgrew it in only a year.
Used continuously since Nov. 1998 as a real Estate office.
